Dogtober is a fantastic way to get involved with Assistance Dogs, have some fun and help train another 25 super pups to help people with physical disabilities.

Dogtober is all about lending a paw by creating your own doggie themed event or being sponsored to undertake a challenge which will raise much needed funds and awareness.

Just as puppies come in all shape and size sizes so too can yours. They can be as big or small as you want, they can include your family, friends, work colleagues, neighbours, your local school or sporting club – anyone and everyone you know – it’s up to you!

To help out our super pups got their wet noses together and came up with some great ideas for events, from organising a Dog’s breakfast or baking and selling pup cakes to Dogs-bowling. For more dog-spiration ideas visit the get involved section on this site.

You will be helping out so much, no matter which event or activity you choose and every cent you raise will go directly to help train another Assistance Dog.
